Red? Green? Brown?

My dad is colour blind. And we have always like to test him with colours. He can't differentiate Red, Brown, and Green. He will see red when it is actually green, or green when it is actually brown. Surprisingly, he has a printing company. Lucky for my dad, he has my wonderful mum. Oh yea, and ME. =P He would be asking us "Is this colour, same with this colour?" Or "Which one is green??" Things like that. It is actually funny, because he has to deal with lots of colours in his printing business. But still, he has been doing this since ages ago. I'm proud. =)

It's not everytime that he couldn't differentiate the colours. As long as it is bright enough, he would be OK. And no..he does not see trees in RED. The leaves are still GREEN to him. I don't know why though.

My sister has been very very terrible in art. Colouring, was not her best skill. She always colour things with the wrong colour. We have been wondering why. She might colour a person's skin red. Scary right? I don't know what's wrong with her. But she was like soooo young that time, we didn't bother much. One day, we were taking a ride somewhere. So she was pointing at one of the cars, saying it's nice. And she keep saying "See that green car. So nice." Something like that. But my parents and I looked around and we didn't see the green car she was saying. And she got frustrated "NEH~ THAT GREEN CAR!" Really can't see it.

After a while my mum suddenly felt that something was very wrong and decided to ask her in another way. Mum asked her to tell us the car plate number. Sure enough, she is colour blind. It was a RED car. Gosh...as what i have heard, there are very very few cases of girls who are colour blind. Sis is soooo damn lucky! =P

My brother, didn't have any problems when he was young. He was the cutest boy ever. With all his cutest expression for things. He watches too much Disney Channel I guess. He has that slang when he speaks English, he's the mat salleh in the family. Will never answer in Chinese even if we talk to him in Chinese. Once he saw my mum using the blender, and he keep asking my mum how it works. So after my mum finish explaining to him, he said "Wow~ it is soooooo amazing~" with that slang. HAHA. Cute.

One day, mum was in de garden looking at her plants. Saw that the chilies she planted is growing. So she asked my brother to come over and look at it. My bro, also happy for my mum...said " Wow.....look at all the RED Chillies!" Mum went @.@ And asked him again, what chillies did you say it is?? Bro said it is RED. Omigosh...Another colour blind in the family. Those were actually Green chillies.

So, i guess i'm the lucky one. Dad's gene so "terror" leh.

xoxo
