Taipei Day 2 - Taiwan Storyland

We had breakfast prepared by the hotel before heading out. It was just an ordinary breakfast, white porridge with some egg, meat and etc. Even though the breakfast was very simple, but BB and I liked it!

Simple breakfast provided by the hotel
Enjoy~ =)
We planned to visit Taiwan Storyland and some of the Museums. As it was only the 2nd day there, we were still kind of lost even though we have our maps. It's like we have no sense of direction at all. LOL. Taiwan Storyland was actually not very far from our hotel, but we walked up and down that street and still couldn't find it. In the end, it was just next to Mitsukoshi building (新光三越). =.=ll

Taiwan Storyland is like a museum which portraits the old time life of Taiwan. It has all these small alleys and shops with the old Taiwan atmosphere. The place is quite big and we spend around 1 - 2 hours there. So if you're interested to know how life was in Taiwan back in the 60's and 70's, do drop by at Taiwan Storyland.

Actually want to take this because of the

Restaurant Regal Coronet @ Mahkota Cheras

On the way going to Mahkota Cheras from the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn traffic light, you will see a row of shops on your left. Restaurant Regal Coronet is at the end of that row of shops. They serve delicious Chinese food and my family loves visiting there. My relatives came to visit and my parents brought them to this restaurant, we ordered 8 dishes, bloated but very satisfied.

So i guess..I'll just let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy~ =)

Taipei Day 1 - Shihlin Night Market

We checked in our hotel around 5pm. Rested for half an hour, then we headed out to our 1st destination, ShihLin Night Market. Our hotel is very near to Taipei Main Station. Just few streets away, about 15 minutes walk. Our hotel is considered to be at a very strategic location. Even though it's not a 5 star hotel or that is it nice, there are lots of stalls next to the hotel, and they are all very YUMMY!

In front of our hotel
On the way to the MRT station
BB's English Centre. LOL

The MRT in Taipei are fantastic! Very convenient. It's even hard to get lost.=P The route are very easy to understand. Great for people like me..=P takut to take public transport in Malaysia cause i'm afraid i'll get lost.We took the MRT from Taipei Main Station to Jiantan Station. Just a few stations away. There is a station call ShihLin Station too but don't get down from there. Apparently it's further away from the night market. So the correct station to get down is Jiantan.

The crowd at the MRT Station
Food at ShihLin Night Market was superb! Can't stop eating at all. Everything was so delicious. Other than that, girls there were so pretty. Even I was drooling looking at those girls. LOL. So anyway, I'll let the pictures do the talking. =)
